Founded by kinesiologist Ashley Wong, Elevate is a signature fitness event designed to revive minds, bodies and souls one workout at a time. Expect a fun and uplifting giant group HIIT workout all with the purpose of elevating your total health.

Engaging, interactive, and deeply moving, their performances and workshops invite audiences to not only witness but also participate. Whether you’re enjoying a dynamic stage show or joining their energizing Pow Wow Glow Workout—a unique fusion of pow wow dance and yoga—prepare to be inspired, uplifted, and transformed.

Join us for a progressive Intro to Salsa lesson on the Plaza, followed by open floor dancing! Learn how to dance Salsa, meet new friends, and connect yourself to a community of active and fun people.

Led by Roger Chen, SalsaStudio.net is a local studio specializing in teaching Salsa and Bachata. Priding themselves on the ability to teach anyone and focusing on teaching dance in a fun, easy and social way, giving great results from beginner to advanced dancers.

All dance lessons are from 6pm – 6:45pm. We encourage you to stay after class and showcase your newly learned moves during open floor dancing from 7pm – 8:30pm.

At Brentwood’s CommUnity Fest, Mikhail will lead an Afrobeats + Dancehall Cultural Experience — an interactive workshop that brings together community members through rhythm, storytelling, and movement. The session highlights the cultural significance and shared histories of African and Caribbean dance, offering a space for learning, joy, and connection.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Mikhail Morris is an International Jamaican Cultural Ambassador, Professional Dance Artist/Choreographer, University Lecturer, and Owner of Ketch Di Vybz Production Company. With over 20 years of experience spanning Dancehall, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Ndombolo, Ballet, Contemporary, and Jamaican Folklore, Mikhail is dedicated to preserving cultural traditions, empowering communities, and inspiring growth through dance. His work bridges the richness of African and Caribbean movement with innovation, creating transformative experiences that celebrate heritage, foster connection, and elevate the global understanding of Dancehall and African Diaspora dance.

In partnership with TableTutors DJ Community, The Amazing Brentwood is excited to host the fourth Battle at Brentwood DJ competition. This complimentary event will feature a live talent showcase of TableTutor’s own students, followed by a live battle with amateur DJs going head-to-head. Be amazed by the art of DJing, Beat Making, and Turntablism.

TableTutors is a Burnaby based DJ community that provides opportunities for up-and-coming DJs, through practice and performances in real life settings and experiences. TableTutors is the only DJ studio in Canada where DJs of all experience levels can get together and develop their skills in a safe, inclusive environment with professional equipment, to share their knowledge and elevate the art of DJing.
